1000 paper cranes project V. 1000 paper stars project!

Time for my daily post! Although I almost forgot about it, ah ^.^

So, I read the story of Sadako Sasaki like, two days ago? I was inspired by her story (Google her or 1000 paper cranes) and decided to make 1000 paper cranes. 1000. One thousand. Thats alot of cranes, lol ^.^ So far I have 54 after one day, so I might get this finished in about 20 days, if I make 50 a day. I threaded the ones tha tI finished in tens onto black wool, and pinned them to my celing over my bed, like a kind-of mobile. Here is a picture of them so far:

Yeah, my walls are white, lol ^.^ And the thing on the right hand side is my wardrobe, but the camra on my phone caught it. this is also only 50 of them, since I string them up in 10's.

Anyway, some of the cranes are made out of normal white a4 paper (I can get 5-6 cranes out of one sheet, depending on the size I make the crane), some are printed with patterns, some are made out of the lyrics sheet of Girls take Japan! (Which, if you know me by Innamode, will know that that is my single, which is yet to be released), some are made out of a old music sheet, and some are cut from old magazines. It's a great way to recycle old papers and such you have lying around ^.^

And now onto the paper stars!

It is said that if you make 1000 paper or 'lucky' stars, you will get a wish. So I want to make that amount of stars ^.^ Yet again, it will be hard, but I allready have 105 in a old water bottle, so it shouldn't be *too* hard. I can also use this as a oppitunity to make myself some patterns to use, and those that I do make will be put up on my deviantART account, which is also Innamode, so please check them out! Anyway, here is a picture of them so far!

I have loads of differetn patterns from differetn people on these stars, like pokemon, deer, animal skin patterns, colours, ect. They are so simple to make once you get the hang of!

Anyway, I will keep updating you all on my progress with these projects! I really hope I can complete them!

Thinking of starting up a small lolita shop!

So I am thinking about starting up a small fashion buisness (I am planning to do ITE, buisness studies, French, art and textiles for GCSE) That will sell lolita clothing and mathcing accesories, like there will be a skirt, dress, jks, bag, necklace, bracelet and head piece (A big bow, small bow or headdress) in a 'series' (But no shoes or socks since I don't have the resources to do so.). One would be made to show the buyers what they would be buying, but then they would be made to pattern/mesurements (Having it MTM would cost a little more then having it MTP) as soon as they confirm to buy it. They wouldn't be able to get your money back on on a MTM sale, unless there was something quite wrong, like it suddnley fell in half or something.

So, what does everyone think of my plan so far? Its it realistic, or not so? This is just like, a first thought about it, so it needs ALOT of more intense thinking out.

Shopping at town with only £3!

Heya everyone!

I was saying that I didn't spend enough time updating here... So I am going ot try to update every day! Even if its not lolita-ish (I apologise)

So, today I stayed at school for THIRTEEN hours to help with the open evening that was on tonight to get year sixes to join the school. Me and two other friends go bored, so we went inot town, and this is what I bought!

These super-kawaii strawberry hair slides! They were only ONE pound! They are from Primark. The pink on the strawbeerys is actually lighter on the real thing. I have been meaning to buy these for a while, since they are just adorable. I might wear them with a sweet/classic co-ord.

These four bows are also from Primark, and are also one pound! They look a bit cheap, but hey, they were one pound for four hair clips, what can I say. These actually have a clip bit, so they are easyer to put into hair. I could wear them with pretty much any lolita co-ord as long as it has black/red colours.

And last but not least, this necklace, which was one pound, but from Claire's. It's also not really lolita, but it caught my eye, since I am into things which are slightly 'different'. Its clear-pink, and has the word 'Soda' wrote on it. There is also a red heart-shaped bottle opener on it as well. The chain is silver-plated, and quite delecate.

Bodyline Reweiw

Hello everyone!

I have been meaning to do this for a while now... since I got my dress back in April, lol >.<

Okay, here it is!

Dress:
http://www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/showTBPic.asp?name=/bodyline/photos/p140-2.jpg

I couldnt really see the dress very well, but it was the nicest one I looked at, so I bought it. over all its prety good, Its a little hard to do up, and the mesurements are a little different then on the site, and the fabric of the skirt is a little heavy so I need to wear a larger petti (As I found out AFTER being to Hyper Japan...) but over all it fits prety well, and the craftmenshp is awsome, there are almost no frays or lose threads. The small bit of lace around the bottom part is very good quality, and suits the outfit very well. I also love the pattern, little roses, and hearts with knives in them ,very gothic lolita. Over all, I will give it a 9/10

Blouse:

I got it in black, And it is very nice! the pattern on the front is very well stiched, and Its a very nice fit. The lace round the arms is a bit itchy, and it rides up my arms a bit. Its very nicly made, with only a few loose threads around the front stiching and buttons, and feels good to wear. I wore it to a picnic today, and it was very comftable. I would giove it also a 9/10.

Petti:

I like this. It feels very nice, and had a little bit of poof to it, but not alot. Really its more frilly shorts, but not quite bloomers. its made very well, as the other pieces I have ordered. I also like the pattern, very nice. Its not very comftable, and isnt very long on me. I will give it a 7/10.

Shoes:
http://www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/showTBPic.asp?name=/bodyline/photos/shoes178-2.jpg

I got them in complete black, And they are lovely! they have a few scuffs, but that cus I tried them on as soon as I got them out the bag. I love how it looks like buckles, but really its a popper-thing. I got it in size 260, which is uk size 7, its quite big on me, and I had to tighten the buckles a bit. It feels very nice, and is very comftable to wear, despite the heel. I give it a 9/10

Bag:
http://www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/showTBPic.asp?name=/bodyline/photos/bag153-2.jpg

I got it in black, and its also very nice. The pattern came out very well ,and its bigger then I thought it would be. the fabric had a very nice feel to it, and over all it feels vey high quality for the 8 quid I payed for it. I give it a 10/10

Im gunna wear it with a black headdress (ebay or handmade) and black knee high socks with black ribbon (offbrand). over all, the bodyline stuff was a great buy, the postage came through on the day it said it would, (it took 3 more days cus the postal service wanted more money, and a sunday, blah) so I give them 10/10 for speed. I also give them 10/10 for communication, because my dad phoned them ,and sorted someting out in very short time. Its good quality, for quite cheap prices. I love bodyline!
